Denture Relines

New dentures will typically fit your mouth very securely as it has been designed specifically for your gums. As time goes by, your gum tissues may change and the fit of the denture may become more loose and more prone to movement inside your mouth. Having the denture professionally relined can keep the denture secure and functional.

Depending on the denture and the amount of movement, Relines can be done with either a hard or soft material. There are times when relines can be done the same day to improve function and give a secure fit to the denture in the office. Other times, the denture may need to be sent to a laboratory to reinforce it with a strong acrylic to make it feel like new again.
